RUMOUR : iPhone 4G to be called HD?

I don’t buy iPhone HD as the name choice…

Soon after the news broke, we were informed that the next-generation iPhone would be announced on June 22nd (a Tuesday, naturally) and would be dubbed the iPhone HD (a name that has been tossed around before).

It would cause too much confusion with iPad apps which are being suffixed as HD in the App Store already.
Something to watch for (assuming I am wrong) is for Apple to start discouraging the use of the term HD for iPad apps fairly soon..
